Become a GoVirtual® Instructor
The GoVirtual® Certified Instructor (GCI) Program is intended for individuals that have a wealth of knowledge related to VMware virtualization technology and can demonstrate a proven and consistent track record of designing and implementing enterprise VMware virtualization technology on VMware Infrastructure 3 and vSphere 4.
GoVirtual® classes are instructor-led training events which include lectures, hands-on labs, and implementation exercises related to the VMware vSphere 4 cloud computing suite. Due to the technical complexity of VMware virtualization technology, you must have a multifaceted understanding of enterprise virtualization architecture and implementation, including installation and configuration of the ESXi 4 thin hypervisor and ESX 4 Service Console, fibre channel and iSCSI Storage Area Networking, vNetwork virtual switching, resource management, and VMware vCenter 4.0 core concepts and technology such as VMotion live migration, Storage VMotion live migration, and High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduling (DRS), and Fault Tolerance (FT) clustering methods.
What it takes to become GoVirtual® Instructor:
- Have at least a VCP on VI3/VI3.5, or preferably a VCP4 on VMware vSphere 4.
- Attend an Extreme Boot Camp™ for VMware vSphere 4 taught by a current GoVirtual® Certified Instructor.
- Pass the Certified Virtualization Architect (CVA) Prometric examination with at least an 85% pass rate.
If you are interested in becoming a GoVirtual® Certified Instructor (GCI) and you currently hold at least a VMware VCP on VI3, VI3.5, or vSphere 4, Contact Us today for more information about the application process.
