Virtualization has been consistently rated one of the highest impact technologies on the market today, and will dramatically transform how enterprise datacenters and corporate infrastructures are designed, implemented, and managed over the next decade.
The GoVirtual® Certified Enterprise Virtualization Architect (CEVA) certification proves competency in virtualization and cloud computing technologies, 
and is primarily focused on the VMware vSphere 4 product suite that is developed and marketed by VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW).
Although not a prerequisite, GoVirtual® recommends that CEVA testing candidates should have at least two (2) years of hands-on virtualization experience with a strong emphasis on the enterprise Storage Area Networking (SAN) technologies used by VMware vSphere 4 such as fibre channel and iSCSI SANs.
CEVA Testing Requirements
- Have the recommended two (2) years of hands-on experience with virtualization technology.
- Attend an Extreme Boot Camp™ for VMware vSphere 4 or self-study using the Extreme Boot Camp™ for VMware vSphere 4 Video Training Kit.
- Sign up for the Certified Enterprise Virtualization Architect (CEVA) exam through Prometric, which is proctored on the last day of any Extreme Boot Camp™ for VMware vSphere 4 class that runs across our partner network.
- On the day of the test, bring two forms of identification with you to the training center and remit payment in the amount of $175 USD to Prometric.
- Pass the Certified Enterprise Virtualization Architect (CEVA) Prometric exam by answering at least 70% of the test questions correctly.
